Program of guided tours in Maribor
The sightseeing with a tourist guide's company offers much more than an independent exploration of the city. Exceptional historical facts, rich tourist offerings and the lively beat of city streets and squares will be spiced up with a visit to the World's Oldest Vine.
Scheduled dates:
- January - December
- Every Friday at 4 p.m.
- Every Saturday at 11 a.m.
Price:
- 16,00 EUR per person (purchase in TIC Maribor)
- 14,00 EUR per person (purchase through the reservation system)
- 9,00 EUR per child (7-12 years)
- 8,00 EUR per child (7-12 years) (purchase through the reservation system)
- The price includes a glass of wine or juice in the Old Vine House.
Guided tours can be booked through the reservation system or directly at our Tourist Information Centre.
Reservations for the tour are necessary at least two days in advance.

- Duration of the guided tour: 1.5 h.
- Language (s): guided tours will be held in Slovene and/or English language.

Perfect Tour
We were so lucky to see all important sights, historic buildings and of course the Old Vine and to hear a lot of interesting stories, get information of the history and the present of Maribor. We were completely happy with this tour!
Wirklich toll!
Unsere Fremdenführerin war sehr kompetent und charmant! Auch wenn sie behauptete, ihr Deutsch wäre nicht so gut - was gar nicht stimmte- konnten wir ihrem interessanten Vortrag sehr gut verstehen. Es war für uns ein großes Vergnügen, auf diese Weise Maribor näher kennenzulernen. Vielen Dank und ein großes Lob!
Private Stadtführung durch Maribor
Die ganze Organisation im Vorfeld war sehr einfach und professionell. Die Führung selbst sehr gut. Ein sehr netter und gebildeter Stadtführer, sehr profunde Informationen und nette Geschichten aus der Stadtgeschichte.
Odlična izkušnja
Vodič Miran je nad vse prijeten, prijazen in razgledan gospod, ki več kot dobro pozna mesto, od koder prihaja. Na lahkoten, a hkrati strokoven način je na posameznih mestih zanimivo pripovedoval o Mariboru. Ob tem je bilo čutiti širino njegovega znanja - od umetnosti, predvsem zgodovine in tudi gradbeništva ... Čeprav sem Slovenec, bi vsakemu rojaku priporočal ogled enega od naših lepih mest, če je le možno, prav z omenjenim vodnikom.
Simpatičen vodnik
Vse pohvale gospodu Miro Bregu za zanimivo in poučno vodenje po Mariboru. Prosim, da gospodu prenesete mojo pohvalo, hvala in uspešno delo še naprej želim..
Great guide, very nice and knowledgeable. Interesting tour! Maybe a little bit more "recent history" and culture would be nice along with the many dates. We were cut off short because of heavy crazy rain, and I find that the guide did a great job in improvising because of this!
Sehr informative und kurzweilige Stadtführung. Unser sehr netter Guide hat alles versucht uns trotzt heftiger Gewitterschauer nicht immer im Regen stehen zu lassen. Vielleicht war es auch deswegen eine besondere Tour, die wir sehr gerne weiter empfehlen.

Excellent tour
My guide (David if I remember correctly) was knowledgeable, friendly and gave an excellent tour in perfect English. I recommend it
Wir (2 Personen) waren die einzigen Teilnehmer der Führung. Die Führerin hat ausgezeichnet deutsch gesprochen, war sehr freundlich und hat uns viele interessante Einblicke in die Geschichte und die Gegenwart der Stadt gegeben. Wir haben trotz Regen 90 kurzweilige Minuten miteinander verbracht und waren froh, dass wir uns für diese Führung entschieden haben.

Z družino smo se udeležili prijetnega potepa po znamenitostih centra Maribora. Odlična organizacija in izvedba. Najbolj nas je navdušil ekskluziven ogled kino. Za piko na i pa smo okušali tudi domača vina. Hvala vam za krasen potep! Taja iz Ljubljane

Vodiča se komaj sliši. Ostalo ok.
Lepo voden ogled centra Maribora, vendar je vodic na trenutke govoril malo pretiho. Sicer pa lepa izkušnja🙂
